Leveraging technology for public good.

Enabling government and policymakers to stay up to speed with the rapidly evolving technology ecosystems, empowering them to make informed decisions for public good.

Here’s a short video on this initiative.

Our Key Initiatives

Wadhwani Center for Government Digital Transformation (India)

Set up in September 2020, in response to the Honorable Prime Minister of India’s vision of mainstreaming emerging technologies in government operations, including policy and programs.

This initiative (formerly known as Wadhwani Institute of Technology and Policy) enables government departments and officials to accelerate their digital transformation through a tech-focused Skilling Academy that keeps them up to speed on new technology trends and a live Incubation Center to develop, pilot and launch national/state-level digital initiatives with the potential to benefit hundreds of millions of citizens.

Wadhwani Center for AI and Advanced Technologies (USA)

Established in April 2023 with a $5 million commitment from Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, who is a CSIS (Center for Strategic and International Studies) trustee.

The Wadhwani Center for AI and Advanced Technologies will produce in-depth research, analysis, and policy recommendations to equip policymakers and government officials with a better understanding of rapidly evolving technology ecosystems and their impacts on U.S. national security and economic security.
