Four new free courses are now available in the educational program of Arcos Dourados, the operator of McDonald’s in Brazil. The online training is aimed at the general public and is offered in partnership with the Wadhwani Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to professional development. Registration is open to anyone over 16 years old and can be done through this website.
Interested individuals can choose from the following courses: “Effective Speaking and Listening Skills,” which covers presentation practices, clear reading, and active listening; “Impactful Writing Skills,” where students practice creating sentences and questions, including tips on writing professional emails and taking accurate notes; “Problem Solving and Innovation,” which encourages creativity and critical thinking to facilitate decision-making; and “Work Productivity Tools,” focused on developing essential computer skills, such as Word and Excel. Those who complete one or more courses will receive a certificate.
Additionally, the platform offers another 20 courses in areas such as Digital Marketing and Emotional Intelligence, aimed at those seeking their first job or those with some experience looking to enhance their skills. According to the program, the course content was defined based on interviews with employers to highlight the skills most in demand in the job market.
