Wadhwani Foundation’s Skill Development Network and Govt. of Maharashtra, sign an MoU to transform the state’s 400+ ITIs into market-driven high performing institutes

WF-SDN inked an MoU with Govt. of Maharashtra today to help transform its 400+ ITIs into market-driven high performing institutes over a 3-year period, producing entry level mid-skill workers. The MoU was signed by Principal Secretary, Dept. of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Deepak Kapoor and Manish  Mohan, Executive Vice President – SDN, Wadhwani Foundation in the presence of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis [image attached].

As part of this MoU, SDN will integrate e-content for employability skills to support industry aligned skilling in ITIs and also facilitate capacity building through training of trainers. SDN will also help set up Industry Collaboration Cells for content, faculty, internship partnerships and provide knowledge experts to assist DVET to setup the Program Management Office.
