A 3-Day Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp for Principals and teachers of PM SHRI Schools came to an end today at Hotel Classic, North AOC, Imphal.
The IDE Bootcamp was jointly organised by the All India Council for Technical Education, Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL) and Innovation Cell (MIC) of the Ministry of Education, Government of India in collaboration with Wadhwani Foundation.
The closing function was graced by Prof DVLN Somayajulu, Director, NIT Manipur; Prof Kh Tomba Singh, Registrar, NIT Manipur; Aseem Kaita, Regional Coordinator; Dr Ngangbam Romeji, Associate Professor, NIT Manipur; representatives from the State Education Department; and distinguished resource persons from the Wadhwani Foundation, Gauri Gopinath and Sachin Gupta, along with other eminent guests, Principals, teachers and members of the organising committee.
The camp, held in hybrid mode (offline & online), witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 130 Principals and teachers from PMSHRI Schools across the State.
The core objective of the bootcamp was to build capacity among school leaders and educators by equipping them with innovative thinking, designthinking methodologies, and entrepreneurial skills.
The programme was aligned with the vision of NEP 2020 and PM SHRI Schools, which aim to transform schools into model institutions showcasing best practices, inclusivity, sustainability, and future readiness.
