This was the first workshop related to training on ‘application of artificial intelligence’ for government officials of the state. The government has aimed to provide training in AI to all the officials of the state in a phased manner.
The Chief Secretary said that what seems difficult today, will prove to be easy tomorrow through the application of AI. Along with this, due to the rapid innovation taking place in the field of technology, it has become important for government officials to know and understand about AI.
Soon, the state will have a unique AI policy, Vishal Dev, Principal Secretary to the Department, informed. Steps are also being taken to start ‘Odisha AI Mission’ to establish coordination between various sectors, he said. In this context, MoUs have also been signed with NASSCOM and Wadhwani Foundation.
