Wadhwani Foundation rolls out a campaign dedicated to\u00a0aspiring and existing women\u00a0entrepreneurs in India\u00a0and\u00a0celebrating the\u00a0indomitable\u00a0spirit of women entrepreneurs.\u00a0The campaign, branded as \u2018From one Woman Entrepreneur to Another<\/strong>,\u2019 shares inspiring\u00a0and successful\u00a0stories\u00a0of\u00a0women entrepreneurs from different industries and backgrounds, hence motivating women from all parts of the country to come forward\u00a0and realize their entrepreneurial\u00a0dreams.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0campaign features a series of video messages from\u00a0five women\u00a0entrepreneurs, sharing their\u00a0entrepreneurial\u00a0journey from starting a business, building their products and services, overcoming barriers, creating\u00a0opportunities, and\u00a0reflecting\u00a0on what motivated them to start\u00a0up.<\/p>\n

Atul Raja, Executive Vice President, Global Marketing at Wadhwani Foundation comments, \u201cEncouraging and inspiring women entrepreneurs will have a significant impact on our economic progress. Of the 63 million MSMEs in India, only 6 percent are led by women entrepreneurs, and these have mainly resulted from necessities and not opportunities. So, there is a need to unlock the massive untapped potential of women entrepreneurship in India which will provide a boost to job creation and allow social and economic independence for better outcomes at the community level.\u201d<\/p>\n
